Charlotte Church

Charlotte Church is a Welsh musician who gained prominence when she released her debut album "Voice of an Angel" as young as 12 years old. She's a talented artist who has also acted in films and presented an on-air show. She has shown a knack to sing at a young age and has been performing in public since she was just three and one-half years old. In her early years, she started performing as a classical performer of hymns. She sang "Pie Jesu" over the phone for a telecast program when she was eleven. She then performed on "The Big Big Talent Show" and caught the curiosity of the people. She was invited to appear at the Royal Albert Hall and Cardiff Arms Park. Charlotte's talents were recognized from Jonathan Shalit, one of UK's most successful entertainment impresarios, who helped her sign a contract for Sony Music and became her manager. The first album she released, 'Voice of an Angel', released in 1999 was an immediate success, and she became the youngest performer to achieve the number. #1 album on the British charts of the classical crossover. Her popularity continued to rise over the years and she was invited to perform in front of celebrities like former US President Clinton The Prince of Wales Charles as well as Pope John Paul II.
