Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman, an Olympic gold medalist gymnast she was the one who led America to victory in both 2012 and 2016. U.S. to victory in both 2012 as well as in the year 2016. She has won six Olympic medals overall she was also a part of two gold-medal winning World Championships teams. Aly is a native of Needham in Massachusetts. The passion she has for the sport can be traced back to her 18-month old "mommy and me" class. Aly has been a strong proponent of body positivity and is a leader as well as an activist in the gym. She recently spoke out regarding Larry Nassar's sentencing. Aly Raisman was born in 1994, and started her gymnastics career at an early age. She was a part of the U.S. Gymnastics Team win the 2011 World Championships. In 2012, Raisman won two golds at the London Olympics the first for the team event, and another in individual floor exercises, and also a bronze on the beam. Raisman was back at the Olympics again in Rio in 2016and won two silver medals. One in each of the all-around floor and all-around exercises, and the other in the gymnastics teams for women. Raisman confessed in 2017 she was sexually harassed by her former team physician Larry Nassar. The following year, she filed the lawsuit in the name of USA Gymnastics as well as the U.S. Olympic Committee.
